Global engineering, repair, and logistics company. The Denver location focuses on providing testing and design services for communication systems. The client was experiencing production challenges due to no-shows and absenteeism. They were also experiencing high turnover and employee engagement issues.

Background

When we started working with this client, they had multiple staffing providers and many challenges including communication, time capture, attendance/turnover issues, and productivity issues due to staffing gaps.

Our goal was to learn more about the persistent staffing challenges and see if we could make an impact. We gathered data from both the client and the employees. We asked the employees about their first day, on the job training, and other feedback about the work environment. We asked the client about their staffing goals, challenges, benefits, and why people liked working at this facility. From the data, Job Store realized the company struggled making employees feel welcome on their first day; training and
feeling isolated were their other concerns. In addition, collecting time and getting attendance information to managers was tough.

Job Store partnered with our client to provide a comprehensive staffing solution for their ramp-up:

  • Dedicated On-Site Support – our On-Site Manager assisted with first day welcomes, on-boarding, and any questions/issues
  • Rapid Recruitment and Onboarding – our On-Site Manager implemented a streamlined recruitment and onboarding process to support a positive experience for candidates and a rapid ramp up of staffing
